MEET MARISSA

I know you want to get to know the person who will have access to your gorgeous family, so a little about me. 

I moved to the Effingham area in 2006 and I absolutely love it here!

I have been married to my husband Brian since 2009 and we have two young boys, and a princess born in 2014, 2015, and 2018. Our life is so full of love and we are very grateful!

When I am not taking photos I am busy at home with my kids, trying to catch up on sleep, reading, or doing one of my million hobbies.

My photos have been featured in Shutter Magazine, Framed Photographer Magazine, Shutter Up Magazine, and Photograp[Her] Magazine. I have also won First Place in the Professional B&W Competition at the Mattoon Arts Council, and have been featured in photography blogs. 

I continuously learn so that I can push my limits as a member of PPA, attending Imaging USA and Shutterfest conferences to learn from pros in my specialties.

I regularly attend in person workshops, and am a certified photographer for kids safety through NCSI.
